JAMMU, Aug 9: Youth Congress Jammu West today discussed the implications of the revocation of Article 370 in the State.
A meeting of the Youth Congress (Jammu West) was held here today in Jammu West Constituency to hold discussions on the recent decisions of the Central Government for Jammu and Kashmir, especially pertaining to scrapping of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution and its implications.
The members present discussed impact of this new Act in context to Jammu region and how this would affect the lives of its residents. They said that Jammu will face hardships in days to come. They also discussed ideas and strategies that should be implemented to strengthen the Youth Congress at the grass-root level.
Former minister and PCC general secretary Yogesh Sawhney was also present in the meeting and gave his inputs on the issue.
Manu Jamwal, DCC general secretary, Anirudh Sawhney (President Youth Congress Jammu West), Ranjit Kumar (Gen Secy Assembly Jammu West, Youth Congress) and other Youth Congress members were also present there.
