JAMMU, July 30: A man was found today in unconscious condition from Narwal Mandi and was declared as brought dead in the hospital.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Yashpal Singh (38) son of Balwinder Singh, resident of Amritsar. He said the deceased was a driver and was found in unconscious condition at Narwal Mandi after which he was rushed to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“Prima facie, it appears that the man died of cardiac arrest or brain stroke,” the official said, adding the body was sent for postmortem while Narwal police had taken cognizance of the matter.
