ReT Forum raises burning issues

UDHAMPUR, July 7: J&K ReT Teachers Forum has projected the burning issues of the teaching community.
In a meeting of the Forum held at Udhampur under the leadership District president Lekh Raj Parihar and State chief coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, the members threadbare discussed the main issues of the ReT teachers. Besides executive members of Forum, members from all the eleven zones of the district attended.
While speaking on the occasion LR Parihar raised the burning issues of teaching fraternity and appealed the Governor administration to redress them for the welfare the teachers. He stressed for resolution of issue of undergraduate teachers by removing bar of graduation, regularization of un-regularised ReTs who have completed 5 years period and smooth release of salary of teachers who haven’t been converted to teachers Grade-II due to various reasons.
While speaking on the occasion Sumbria appealed the Government to resolve the issue of Head Teachers by sanctioning non plan posts of masters. He also demanded the conversion of left out graduates to teachers Grade -II.
Others who also spoke on the occasion were: Ravinder Rathore, Bhushan Khajuria, Sandeep Sharma, Jagdish Chander Sharma, Vijay Sadotra, Vipin Sharma, Sham Singh, Sahil Sambyal, Pankaj Thakur, Parshant Sharma, Jai Parkash and others.
