JAMMU, June 25: A man was found in unconscious condition today in Parade area and later died in a hospital.
According to a police official, a man identified as Atiq Ahmed (40) son of Mohd Amin, resident of Ustad Mohalla, was found unconscious this morning in Parade area. He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment but he died there after few hours.
“After postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Pacca Danga,” the official added.
