KATHUA, June 19: A middle aged person was killed and a woman was injured in a road accident which took place at Rajbagh on Jammu- Pathankot National Highway in Kathua district today.
The accident took place when a Maruti vehicle without Registration Number collided with a bus bearing Registration Number MP 3P 6133 at Rajbagh when car tried to over take the bus. The Maruti car turned turtle on the road which resulted in death of driver identified as Des Raj, son Faquir Chand, residents of Harbour, Basholi.
The women travelling in vehicle was injured and she was identified as Sewa Rani, W/o Dharam Singh residents of Basantpur, Kathua. She was hospitalized at Associated Medical College Hospital, Kathua. Rajbagh Police has registered a case and started investigation in the matter.
