JAMMU, June 19: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association (VREA) held protest here today.
The VRS given workers of the SRTC led by Dev Raj Bali, President All J&K SRTC Voluntarily Retired Employees Association, assembled at Exhibition Ground near Press Club in the morning and staged protest demonstration. They raised slogans in support of their demands and also against the State Administration and SRTC management.
While speaking, Bali demanded release of COLA arrears from January 1, 2006, 6th pay commission arrears and implementation of corporate benefits.
He appealed to the Governor to look into their issues and redress them on priority.
Among others present were Surinder Singh, Balwinder Singh, BB Sharma, Shiv Kumar, Davinder Singh, Deep Raj and DN Sharma.
