JAMMU, June 12: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat today visited Mishriwala, Amb Panchayat, Purkhoo, Marjali and other areas of Raipur-Domana constituency and took stock of various ongoing development works there.
Bhagat visited the construction site of Mishriwala Bridge which connects GDC Mishriwala.
Chief Engineer PWD, Nisar Goni was also present there and he informed Bhagat that construction work of Mishriwala Bridge will start next week.
Stressing on adherence to deadline, Bhagat urged the concerned officials for proper utilization of resources in a time-bound manner to ensure holistic and sustainable development of the constituency.
He asked the officers to adopt cost efficient methods for quality work and exhorted upon them for close monitoring of ongoing projects.
During the tour, Bali Bhagat also inaugurated ‘Mahi Fitness Club’ a unisex gym at Panchayat Amb.
He also interacted with locals and assured that all their genuine concerns will be looked into on priority and asked the concerned officials to take adequate measures to mitigate the problems of the locals at an earliest.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Sarpanch Sarishta Devi, BJP Mandal Pradhan Ved Prakash Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Sandeep Singh and others.
