RAJOURI, May 16: Police has booked a Sarpanch and two other persons for posting sensitive comments and posts on social media.
Official sources said that Sarpanch, Liyaqat Ali from a Panchayat of Rajouri posted a status on social media platform on which two other persons made sensitive comments having potential of disturbing peaceful atmosphere.
Taking note, police has booked all three persons who include Sarpanch from Fatehpur Danna, Liaqat Ali, Showkat Betab and Chowdhary Naseer Ahmed and a case FIR No.281/2019 under section 153-A RPC has been registered against them in Rajouri Police Station.
Rajouri police has appealed all the people to use social media in a constructive way and for personal as well as professional growth only.
