JAMMU, May 16: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K celebrated 479th birth anniversary of Maharana Partap in a function held at Sabha Bhawan, Raj Tilak Road here today.
A large number of members of the community and some office bearers of the Rajput Sabha attended the celebrations. The programme commenced with Havan Yagya at around 11.30 am, followed by special prayers.
The members present on the occasion paid their rich tributes to Late Maharana Partap of Mewar (Rajasthan) and also prayed for peace in the state and the country. A community langar was also arranged on the occasion.
