UDHAMPUR, May 15: A female beggar was knocked to death by bus on the national highway, near New Bus Stand, here today.
Police said the deceased, identified as Tara Devi (60), wife of Panna Lal of Nagpur (Maharashtra), presently putting up near MH Chock Udhampur, was walking on the roadside when a bus bearing registration number JK02AB-2519 hit her. Some locals and police shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared her as brought dead.
