JAMMU, May 1: Sub-Judge Jammu Pawan Kumar Sharma has rejected the bail applications of two real brothers namely Mohd Aslam and Sher Mohd, sons of Mohd Mansha of Sidhra, who were arrested by the police for kidnapping of minor girl.
After hearing Senior PO Puja Nijhon, who opposed the bail, court observed, “it is painful to hear that victim in this case is only 12-13 years old and she has been subjected to physical assault as well as allegation of kidnapping is serious”.
“It cannot be the ground for bail that accused are in custody for more than 10 days. The argument of counsel for the accused that due to civil dispute between the parties, a false case has been registered is also rejected because no father would lodge a false case involving his minor daughter”, the court further observed, adding “even the statement of victim is against the accused”.
With these observations, court dismissed the bail applications.
