RAMBAN, Apr 13: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 600 grams cannabis from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a police team led by Incharge Sangaldan Police Post SI Sumit Sharma laid a naka at Partmulla Jabba and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 600 grams cannabis from the possession of two persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zaffar Iqbal, son of Mohammad Yaqoob Pathan of Parthmulla Gool and Fareed Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed of Gool, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 23/19 has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery has been made under the supervision of SDPO Gool Mohammad Rafi Giri, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
