JAMMU, Mar 7: BJP State spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan while taking serious exception to the statement of a senior national leader of Congress said by terming the attack on CRPF convoy in which 44 brave-hearts were martyred as a mere accident he has insulted the sacrifices of the security forces.
In a statement issued here, today, Balbir Ram Rattan said by making such remarks, the leader has himself raised question on the sacrifices of security forces.
While condemning the approach of the Congress in matters related to the security and loss of lives of the security personnel, he said it is unfortunate that Congress even did not spare the security forces who have been fighting a proxy war in Kashmir for the security of their motherland and citizens.
“On the one hand, the political parties were repeatedly asking not to politicize the issues of Pulwama attack and Indian air strikes in terror camps in PoK, their leaders on the other hand are themselves indulging in such acts which seems to be the part of politics played by these leaders”, Balbir said and added that politics should not go to such lowest level.
Balbir further said that by making such demand, these leaders have got themselves exposed and brought bad name for their parties, most of which have even became irrelevant and have lost faith of the people.
Balbir said that the opposition leaders have, in fact, insulted the sacrifices and valour of the Indian security forces and that they should seek apology for trying to raise question on what our Air Force did to teach a lesson to those who are training and pushing terrorists into Indian territory.
