KATHUA, Mar 1: Director Social Welfare (DSW) Jammu, Dr Bharat Bhushan today inaugurated a Play Way School of the Cambridge Montessori chain of schools at Hiranagar.
The school has been opened by Manju Bala, Councillor of Municipal Committee, Hiranagar and her husband Suraj Parkash- a budding educational entrepreneur. Located in Panchayat Chak Nathal near Marheen in Hiranagar, the School is first of its kind in the border belt.
Dr Bharat Bhushan and BR Lochotra, former Director General of Planning, who was also present on the occasion, complimented the owners of the School for choosing border area and hoped that border area students will be immensely benefited by this venture of Cambridge Montessori chain of schools.
The Councillors of Hiranagar Municipal Committee namely Rajiv Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Ramesh Verma and Sarpanch of Panchayat Chak Nathal, Rahul Hans were among the prominent persons present on the occasion.
A good number of parents and panchayat members were also present on the occasion.
