Private Schools Association delegation calls on Jt Director

JAMMU, Feb 27: A deputation of more than 100 private schools of different districts of Jammu division along with the executive members of Central Body of J &K Private Schools Association called on Hemraj Pukhroo, Joint Director, School Education Jammu.
Deputation highlighted the issue pertaining to recognition and permission of private schools functioning up to class 8th. While discussing members said that schools functioning up to class 8th in Jammu and its adjoining areas have submitted their files since long but till date these schools are deprived of recognition / permission/ extension due to the non availability of NOC from FFC.
They demanded immediate disposal of all such files without NOC from FFC as Fee Fixation Committee vide its Order No: 01FFC of 2019 dt. 28-01-19 has waived off the restriction of obtaining NOC for low budget schools whose annual fee and monthly tuition fee is
Rs.6000/- Rs.1000/- respectively. They also demanded the similar criteria as fixed for the schools functioning up to 10th and 12th standard for the recognition and permission while granting recognition, permission and extension up to 8th standard. Joint Director listened the members patiently and promised to mitigate the grievances of such schools before the closure of this academic session.

Khullar, Naresh Kumar, Ajay Singh, Gansara Singh, Vivek Chouhan , Vir Vikram Sharma etc.
