SAMBA, Feb 12: A fire broke out in the field of paddy straw at village Rakh Barotian area of Vijaypur in district Samba, today.
The incident took place this evening. The fire broke out in the field of paddy straw belonging to two Gujjar families, namely Ali Hussain, son of Firoz Din and Mohammad Din, son of Sham Din both are residents of Rakh Barotian Vijaypur. When they saw the flames coming out from their field, they immediately started to control the fire with the help of water but when the fire did not control they immediately informed to Fire tender. After getting the information fire tender reached the spot and controlled the fire. However no loss of life is reported, but the cause of fire is being ascertained.
The Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
