JAMMU, Jan 30: Former minister and senior leader of Peoples Conference (PC) Abdul Gani Vakil today said that in the upcoming elections, PC will emerge as a king maker and form a stable government in the State.
Vakil, who last week joined Peoples Conference led by Sajjad Gani Lone, said all the like minded people are joining to make the third option stronger. “We will uproot the dynasty politics in J&K,” he vowed.
Terming the dynasty politics of NC and PDP as the mother of all evils the J&K state is facing, Vakil said it is the time for change and change will come when the PDP and NC are buried in Kashmir politics once and forever. Farooq Abdullah was the first leader who forged alliance with BJP to induct his son Omar Abdullah as Union Minister in BJP Govt and trust shown by BJP leadership in Omar Abdullah that he was allotted a portfolio of foreign affairs in order to tell the world that Kashmir is no issue and everything is alright in J&K, Vakil added.
The PDP and NC for their petty politics joined hands with both BJP and Congress from time to time for the sake of power and even they didn’t hesitate in being hand in glove with Delhi to destroy special status of the State, and both the parties are now shamelessly shedding crocodile tears for vote politics, Vakil said.
He said the corruption and nepotism was all time high in regime of both NC and PDP. All the accountability organisations were made powerless by Mehbooba Mufti. Every third PDP worker and relative of PDP MLA has been accommodated in Jammu and Kashmir.
Vakil said Farooq Abdullah has become a playboy of politics and seems to have lost common sense. ” He has made a mockery of everything. In Delhi he says Bharat Mata ki Jai and in Kashmir, he sings songs for independence. These yardsticks have helped them to grab power in the last seven decades by befooling both Kashmiris and New Delhi. But the time has come when all of these parties who have blood of Kashmiris on their hands will vanish in thin air,” Vakil added.
