JAMMU, Feb 4 : Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
During the meeting, the Governor and Jora discussed issues relating to the implementation of major development schemes and programmes in the Urban Development sector and the need for ensuring against any further delay in the conduct of elections to the Urban Local Bodies.
Jora also briefed the Governor about the obtaining status of the execution of the more important Centrally Sponsored Schemes which promote planned urban development in the State.
