JAMMU, Jan 11: A deputation of J&K Graduate Promotee Agriculture Officer’s Association (JKGPAOA) led by its acting President, Ragbir Anthal met K. Vijay Kumar, Advisor (K) to Governor and raised certain issues.
The deputation said that authorities are making direct recruitment without conducting DPC/PSC to promote VEWs/JAAs/JAEOs as per due share on overall cadre strength of Class-VII of Gazetted cadre twice a year.
Other issues raised by the deputation were that of alleged faulty selection and operation of expired selection list of direct recruits, repeated encroachment of quota of promotees by direct recruits; temporary arrangements being made to look after the work of higher posts for last more than 30 years mostly on pick and choose basis without following any criteria, norms or rule and revocation of few impugned temporary promotion orders issued since September 2017 and onwards.
The Advisor gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured that appropriate steps are being taken in the matter.
