Committee to suggest decongestion of old Baramulla town

JAMMU, Jan 30: Government today constituted a committee for assessing the requirements of roads for decongestion of old Baramulla town.
According to the order issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir will be the Chairman of the committee while Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, DIG Traffic Kashmir, Chief Engineer R&B Kashmir, Chief Town Planner, Srinagar and Director Area Planning will be its members.
The committee will assess the requirement and come-up with the recommendations for addressing the critical requirements, which can be completed within a period of two years.
The committee will invite MLA Baramulla in the meetings and will submit the report within a period of two months.
