Apart from filling in some vacancies, much exercise has been done to give representation to the far-flung areas such as Gurez, Karnah, Doda and Kishtwar etc. Soon after assuming the charge, the Minister of Medical Education ordered immediate ban on private practice by heads of departments. Such actions on the part of ministers will work as balm to the suffering people. The wise and judicious expenditure of the State funds and those of the centre under the capable ministers will benefit the masses as the funds will not be allowed to be swindled.Many times, it has been seen that so many new schemes are formulated but their proper implementation remains confined to papers and files. This kind of practice needs to be avoided.
