Srinagar, Nov 21: The State Forest Service Officers Association today alleged that the legal cell of the department is intentionally delaying the filing of objections regarding the deputation of employees from Corporation or other allied agencies into the department.
The spokesperson of the Association said the legal cell under a well chalked out strategy avert mentioning of SFC borne employees in the objections and have managed court stay on their postings. It is a brazen violation of the rules that deal with the deputation of employees from Corporation to a regular department, he said.
“The rules conspicuously specify that no official from Corporation or any other allied agencies can be deputed to Government Department on gazette post. This is also a violation of financial code where a private corporate person is allowed to draw money from the Govt exchequer,” he said.
He further said the legal cell has failed to contest the stay cases of Corporation borne employees posted to Forest and has paved way for illegal postings. “SFC borne employees like, Dileep Aryan in Agrostology, P.T. Malik as DFO Mahore, Firdous Ahmad Mir, DFO Seed and Jalid Reyaz Banday in Wular Conservation Management Authority have been posted under the above grounds,” he said.
He added that these officers are continuing on the court stay, shares a certain understanding with the legal cell. “The cell in place in Forest Department is misleading the Hon’ble Court in issuing stay orders to SFC borne employees,” he said.
