KATHUA, Nov 19: MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia here today started the lanes and drains work at Ward number-4 and Parliwand area at estimated cost of Rs 7 lakh.
He was accompanied by Municipal Council President, Naresh Kumar and Counselors.
Speaking on the occasion the MLA said that numbers of development works are under plan and are undertaken by Municipal Council Kathua.
He said that the priority of BJP is to develop under developed areas.
“Rs 2 crore will be spent on development works and the newly constituted Municipal Council is given full liberty to identify and select the development works to be executed for beautification of Kathua town.
