SAMBA, Nov 19: Two absconders wanted in different case FIRs lodged at Police Stations of Samba and Ghagwal were arrested by Samba police today.
A Police team of PS Samba headed by Inspector, Chanchal Singh, SHO Samba and under the direct supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Hqrs Samba conducted raids at different suspicious places in and out of the district Samba and apprehended the absconder from Bishnah, in Jammu district.
The accused has been identified as Mithun Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Phinder, RS Pura, Jammu who was wanted in case FIR No. 103/2011 US 307/147/148/149 RPC, 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act of P/S Samba. Accordingly, the absconder who was evading his arrest for the last seven years after commission of crime was produced in the court of law. Thus warrant issued against him under 512 CrPC got executed.
In a similar effort put forth by Police team of P/S Ghagwal, headed by Inspector, Rajeev Kumar, SHO P/S Ghagwal and under the close supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Hqrs Samba, another absconder was arrested from RS Pura, Jammu who was wanted in case FIR No. 02/2014 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA Act of P/S Ghagwal, who was on run for the last four years. The accused person was identified as Darbari Lal, son of Sham Lal, R/o Bhaga Channa, RS Pura, Jammu. He was also produced in the Court of Law and the arrest warrant issued against him got executed.
The Samba Police on the directives of SSP, Samba, Dr Koshal Sharma earlier had constituted a Special teams of Police Station Samba and PS Ghagwal for their arrest.
