JAMMU, Nov 19: In a programmed organized today in lower Roop Nagar area of Jammu, BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) distributed blankets, sweaters and jackets among poor people living in slum areas.
Besides woolens, stationary items and sweets were also distributed among the children by the president of BWWA, Kamlesh Ram Avtar Singh, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
A medical camp was also organized there in which women, old age people and children living in slum areas were examined by a team of doctors from BSF. The needy patients were also provided free medicines.
Lakhbir Kaur, Manju Dhiman, Rimpal Singla, Neera Pawar, Praneet Sharma and other members of BWWA were also present on the occasion.
