Saifullah for early disposal of legal matters

JAMMU, Jan 22: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah asked the officers to work with missionary zeal and ensure time bound disposal of legal matters.
The Minister was speaking at an introductory meeting with the officers of Law Department here today.
Secretary Law, M. A. Tantray, Secretary, Legislative Council, Secretary, Accountability Commission and other senior officers of Law Department were present on the occasion.
The Minister instructed the officers to work in close coordination so that matters received by them from other departments for legal opinion are returned in time bound manner. He said the officials who will perform better would be encouraged, adding that required measures will be taken to address their grievances. He said this would boost the morale of the employees and encourage them to give their best.
“My doors are open to listen to the genuine grievances of the officials of the department”, said the Minister adding that every effort would be made to settle the issues of the employees, if any. He said corrective measures, where necessary, would be made to bring more efficiency in the work culture of the department.
