JAMMU, Nov 1: The dead body of a 22-year-old youth was found this evening from a vacant plot in Anand Nagar (Bohri) area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Vipan son of Baldev Raj, resident of Mathwar, who was presently residing at Anand Nagar”, a police official said, adding, the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem.
He said Pounichak police had initiated inquest proceedings in the case but prima facie it appears that the youth died of drug overdose.
