RAJOURI Oct 29: During his extensive tour of border villages of Rajouri, BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited village Thandi Kassi in Rajouri and took stock of the various developmental works there. During this tour he visited many areas and listened to various genuine grievances of the local residents there.
While addressing a gathering at Thandi Kassi, Vibodh said that the Central Government under the leadership of PM, Narinder Modi is leaving no stone unturned to uplift the poor and weaker sections of the society. This hard work, he said is taking the country towards a new era of growth and development. At the same he said that there are many anti national forces and groups who can not tolerate our growth and development.
While referring to the killing of brave police officer Imtiyaz Ahmed Mir yesterday at Pulwama in South Kashmir, Vibodh said that this incidence has once again proved that militants have no religion and are working only to create a atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. He very strongly condemned the killing of police officer and said that in this hour of grief the whole nation stands behind the family of this police officer.
While recounting the series of events which led to the killing of this police officer from village Southbugh in Pulwama, Vibodh said that this officer was very mercilessly dragged out of his vehicle and before killing was very severely tortured. He further added that no religion in the world can justify such barbaric acts. On this occasion he also warned Pakistan and cautioned the patrons of militants in Pakistan of the disastrous consequences if they did not stop sending militants to Kashmir.
He termed Pakistan a failed State and said that these acts clearly indicate the level of frustration within Pakistan. Latter the local residents of the area alongwith MLC Vibodh Gupta paid homage to this police officer by observing two minute silence. Some local residents of the area showed their strong support to the decisive actions by PM Modi to ensure peace and stability in the region.
