UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: Basantgarh police has arrested one middle- aged person on the charge of alleged rape on his own daughter at remote Mang village.
The police identified the alleged accused as Parkash Chand Gaddi, resident of Maan village in tehsil Basantgarh. The action was taken after wife of the accused lodged FIR No. 34/2018 against her husband alleging that Parkash Chand allegedly raped his own 12-year-old daughter. The police sent the victim for medical examination and arrested the accused. Further investigation was in progress.
