RAMNAGAR, Oct 15: The residents of two villages namely Kela and Santhala in tehsil Ramnagar held protest against the failure of PDD authorities to restore power supply in the area snapped for the last 10 days.
The protesting villagers alleged that electricity supply to the area was snapped after the electric transformers went out of order. The concerned authorities were informed about the matter but till today, the damaged transformers could not be restored. They also alleged that poor quality of cables have been laid at some places and they have broken. The concerned staff has failed to get the same repaired. They sought the intervention of SDM Ramnagar and DC Udhampur into the matter.
