YAIKS for fool proof security to migrant employees in Valley

JAMMU, Sept 6: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its president, R K Bhat took the stock of situation in Kashmir Valley.
The meeting, while expressing concern over the increasing terrorist attacks in the Valley and influx of militants from across the border as well as joining of youth in the terrorists ranks has urged the Government to ensure fool proof security to the migrant employees serving in Kashmir.
It demanded that the security in the migrant camps all over Valley be beefed up. Bhat, while addressing the meeting said that in view of spurt in terrorist activities and the problems being faced by the migrant employees who after taking all risk volunteered themselves to serve in Kashmir for restoration of pluralistic character of the Valley have also been deprived of basic facilities by the Government. He said the migrant employees have not been provided the accommodation facilities as was assured by the Government.
He said in view prevailing security situation in Kashmir and lack of facilities these employees be brought to Jammu and treated at par with other migrant employees till situation becomes normal in Kashmir.
