KATHUA, Aug 10: A housewife has been allegedly assaulted and gang-raped by three persons in village Chabey Chak, falling under the jurisdiction of Rajbagh Police Station.
As per police sources, a woman hailing from village Chabey Chak lodged a complaint with Police Station Rajbagh stating that three persons of village Salapur allegedly assaulted and gang-raped her, when she had gone to attend nature’s call in the fields near her house last night.
The medical examination of the lady was conducted at District Hospital Kathua and later admitted for further treatment.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 194/18 under Section 323 and 376 RPC has been registered at Rajbagh Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
