RAJOURI, July 17: One person was arrested by police for the alleged rape on a minor girl at Bathuni in district Rajouri.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of minor girl’s mother, a case FIR No. 391/ 2018 was registered against one Mantu Akash, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Beli Charana in Jammu. He was residing at a rented accommodation near Salani Bridge in Rajouri. The accused allegedly development illicit relations with girl’s mother and then allegedly raped her minor daughter, too. The police registered a case under section 376 RPC and started investigation.
