UDHAMPUR, Dec 21: A free eye check-up and surgical camp was jointly organized by Leighton Welspun Contractor Pvt. Ltd. and KLSM Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital at Rotary Hospital here.
The two days camp was concluded by General Suresh Khajuria, Chief Advisor – Secretary and Officer Incharge Community Development Programme of the Company in the presence of D. N. Sharma Chairman Rotary Eye Foundation, V.S. Raja, Sr Vice Chairman, Ashwani Khajuria, Puran Lal Sharma, Pritam Kotwal, Rajeev Gupta, S. S. Kerni and other prominent citizens of Udhampur.
In the eye camp 112 patients were examined out of which 30 were operated for implantation of intra-ocular lens. The patients from Ramban, Banihal, Magarkot, Batote and other remote areas were benefited.
Director, Dr S. P. Sharma & Sr Ophth. Surgeon, Dr Manoj Kumar Yadav, the renowned Eye Surgeons of Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur performed the successful surgeries.
