JAMMU, Apr 18: The 119th birth anniversary of Mahasha Nahar Singh was celebrated at the Samadh of Baba Buta Ram Ji Maharaj at Miran Sahib under the presidentship of Garib Dass and chairmanship of Bodh Raj Rao.
Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Samba was the chief guest on the occasion and Vikram Randhawa MLC was the guest of honour.
A large number of people from all sections of the society participated in the function. The speakers asked the people to follow the foot steps of Mahasha Nahar Singh who struggled his entire life for social and economic upliftment of the poor and downtrodden in the society.
On the occasion, Vikram Randhawa announced Rs five lakh out of his CDF for the completion of Mahasha Nahar Singh Memorial Mini Community Hall which is under construction.
