Police hands over missing youth to family

SRINAGAR, Apr 10: Police handed over a differently abled boy to his family who was found roaming around the town in Budgam district today.
A Police spokesman said that a mentally challenged 11 year old boy was found roaming in Budgam and SHO Budgam, on seeing the boy without attendant, took the boy to his office to find his legal heirs.
He said the boy being a minor was made comfortable & an effort was made to seek information from him about his parentage or whereabouts etc.
“It was found that the boy was differently abled and could not speak and immediately his photographs were circulated on social media to ascertain his identity and it was found that the boy namely Mohammad Musa son of Sheikh Saleem is a resident of Soura Srinagar and is a student of Life Help School Hyderpora. The family members & officials of the school were contacted and a reunion was facilitated by Police station Budgam.
