JAMMU, Mar 10: All J&K Estates Employees Association (Jammu province) has demanded reorganization of the department without any further delay.
While projecting demands before the media, president of Estates Employees Association, Prem Singh Bawa said that they had been projecting this demand since long. He said the department was established in 1968 and the cadre review was not held after 1973. There is need to go for reorganization of the department.
He demanded that DPC of all categories with type test be conducted twice a year as per actual seniority list. For the last nine years, no DPC was conducted. He demanded that pending salary arrears be paid to the daily rated workers with effect from 2001 to 2011, SRO 43 cases be settled immediately and new recruitment rules be framed or old rules be amended.
