JAMMU, Feb 20: National Panthers Party (NPP) supremo, Prof Bhim Singh has demanded high level probe into the illegal settlement of foreigners in Jammu municipal limits and their trans- country entry into Jammu & Kashmir which does not allow non- state subject/outsiders to stay in the State.
He said that the illegal entry into J&K State of Bangladeshi/Myanmar inhabitants has been apparently facilitated by permission of the Govts in power at the Centre and the State, whereas 6 lakhs West Pakistani refugees who are settled here for over 70 years are not granted citizenship rights and state subject certificates.
Raising questions, Bhim Singh asked how many foreigners (Bangladeshis, Rohingyas and others) have been settled in and around Jammu city within the municipal limits from 1991 till date? }

He also asked when they entered Jammu and from which direction and under what law, State Government settled them in Jammu city? Bhim Singh also asked what kind of legal document they are having to justify their stay in J&K?
What is the status of the land where they have been settled ? Is it forest land?
Under what authority foreigners have been allotted such property to build houses which is forest land and no foreigners can be allotted State land?
How many foreigners settled in Jammu municipal limits or holding Aadhar Card? How many have been issued ration cards by State Govt ? Who provided them such Aadhar Cards?
In which schools children of foreigner settlers in Jammu are studying and how many minors are begging in the streets of Jammu municipal limits?
Which political party were ruling when these foreigners were settled in Jammu and how many migrants came from PoK to Jammu till 1950 and how many have been settled even in Jammu? Why migrants from Pakistan and PoK have not been granted right to settle in Jammu & Kashmir and so on….?
These are the questions which need to be answered by the rulers of India as well as Jammu & Kashmir State, Bhim Singh asked.
Senior leaders PK Ganju, Bansi Lal Sharma, Anita Thakur, Basharat Ali, Parmjeet Singh Marshall were also present.
