Priya attacks NC, Cong for double standards

JAMMU, Feb 15: Minister of State for Education, Tourism and Culture, Priya Sethi today attacked National Conference (NC) and Congress for double standards and said that both the parties are putting their vested interest over the national interest.
The Minister was speaking during a polling booth Sammelan at Nagrota near here today.
In the quest of gaining political mileage, NC and Congress are playing dirty politics over the blood of brave soldiers of the country the Minister maintained.
Priya said that BJP is a party of nationalists and every member of BJP will always put the national interest first and held the flag of the nation high till his last breath. The Minister criticized NC and Congress for playing a vote bank politics and said that BJP believed in equal development for all and nation building while all these parties only crave for power. “As a citizen of India, we are fortune to have a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi who is taking the nation to a new era of development and becoming a world leader”, the Minister affirmed.
While addressing the gathering, the Minister lauded the party workers for their dedicated efforts by working for the welfare of the public at large.
The Minister asked all the party leaders at the booth level to work for the strengthening of organization at the core level and cover every single issue of the common masses by approaching them individually. She said that every BJP activist played a decisive role in building a strong foundation for the party
The Minister said that the BJP has never compromised with the principles while working for the welfare of the society keeping agenda of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas” in mind.
A threadbare discussion was also held for strengthening and extending the party base in the Constituency.
Enumerating various developmental works initiated in Nagrota Constituency, the Minister said that the present Government has taken several revolutionary measures for the welfare of masses in Nagrota by initiating prestigious projects like IIT, IIM, FCI, ZOO and many more.
The Minister also stressed on adding more female members to the party’s organizational setup.
District president, Rural, Omi Khajuria, State Executive Member, Nand Kishore Sharma, Mandal president Nagrota, Hemraj Verma were present on the occasion.
