JAMMU, Feb 11: A one and a half year old baby boy died today of burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the baby identified as Irfan son of Mohd Rafiq, resident of Khoon (Majalta) was shifted here at GMCH with 25 % burn injuries on January 29 after a pot of boiling milk fell on him.
“After battling with the life for last about 12 days, the baby succumbed to his injuries today at about 1.45 AM”, he said, adding, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
