JAMMU, Feb 6: Two persons were arrested today with a heroin like substance (chitta) by Miran Sahib police.
According to a police official, during routine naka checking at Simbal Camp in Ward No 1, officials of police station Miran Sahib intercepted a bike bearing registration number JK02BP-1796. He said on personal checking of the rider and pillion rider, 0.75 g of chitta was recovered from them.
“Both the persons identified as Sunil Kumar son of Garu Ram, resident of Salehar (RS Pura) and Bodh Raj, son of Bishan Dass, resident of Jindar Mehlu (RS Pura), were arrested on the spot and the recovered chitta seized”, he said, adding, in this connection, a case under NDPS Act has been registered at police station Miran Sahib.
