JAMMU: National Conference MLA from Kargil Asgar Ali Karbalie on Saturday raised an issue of wearing headscarf during police training by the girls from Kargil.
The MLA raised the issue during Zero Hour in the Legislative Assembly. However, Minister for Revenue, Parliamentary Affairs, Hajj and Auqaf Abdul Rehman Veeri, on behalf of the Government, replied that the matter regarding wearing of headscarf by girls during training in police will be taken up with the Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police.
