SRINAGAR, Jan 25: Police arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 24,780 stake money from their possession.
A police spokesman said that a police party led by SHO Police Station, Safa Kadal, Ajaz Ahmad along with Incharge police post, Noorbagh, Ajaz Ahmad acting on a reliable information arrested four gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 24,780 and playing cards in Nawakadal area of Srinagar.
The gamblers were identified as Bashir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Tarbal Nawakadal, Ab Rehman Kenoo, a resident of Saraf Kadal, Manzoor Ahmad Ahanger, a resident of Jamallata Nawakadal and Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Nawakadal.
