JAMMU, Jan 17: Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi today chaired a meeting to discuss the issues regarding SCs and STs.
The meeting was attended by Minister for FCS&CA, Ch Zulfkar, Minister for Health, Bali Bhagat, Minister for Cooperative, Chering Dorjay, Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Abdul Gani Kohli, Legislators, Javid Ahmed Rana, Raja Manzoor Ahmed, Deldan Namgail, Asgar Ali Karbalaie, Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi, Ch. Mohammad Akram, Choudhary Qamar Hussain, Dina Nath Bhagat, Kuldeep Raj, Dr Krishan Lal and Jeevan Lal.
After threadbare discussion, the participants decided to take up the issues concerning the twin communities with the Chief Minister.
With a consensus, the participants constituted a committee comprising Ministers for FCS&CA, Ch Zulfkar Ali, Minister for Health, Bali Bhagat, Minister for Cooperative and Minister for Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Abdul Gani Kohli besides Legislators, Asgar Ali Karbalaie, Ch Mohammad Akram and Raja Manzoor Ahmed, which would meet with the Chief Minister to discuss and highlight the issues of SCs and STs.
