JAMMU, Dec 30: The Traffic Police Jammu would tomorrow conduct test of boozers and challan those founding drunk while driving on the New Year eve.
Traffic Police sources said IGP Traffic Jagjit Kumar and SSP Traffic Jammu Nisha Nathyal have issued instructions to all Traffic Police personnel to remain on duty tomorrow night and ensure peaceful and smooth New Year celebrations.
They have directed that the New Year revelers shouldn’t violate the laws and indulge in hooliganism.
“To ensure smooth celebrations, the Traffic Police would subject the drunkards to on spot test and challan those found drunk while driving,” sources said, adding that all Traffic Police personnel will remain alert tomorrow on the City and other roads.
