JAMMU, Dec 24: Christmas Day was celebrated with zest and fervour.
JP World School celebrated Christmas festival. The event was celebrated by the junior wing students. The boys and girls dressed as santas and fairies sang Christmas carol and presented a beautiful play wherein they depicted the life history of Jesus Christ. The dance performance of pre-primary kids on jingle bells mesmerized the spectators. The best looking santas and fairies were given away the prizes by the school principal, Jitinder Singh Hundal. The programme was coordinated by Harkirat Kaur, the dance teacher of the school.
Christman was celebrated by Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu. A special assembly was organised, in which Christmas song and carols were sung by Sanskritians of primary wing followed by a motivational and enlightening speech on Christmas by students. Grand Santa too made a grand entry and made the children laugh and giggle. The delight was uncontained especially as students of pre- primary presented a wonderful song performance. Principal-cum-Vice Chairp-erson of the school Rohini Aima was also present on the occasion.
Aroma Foundation Public School, Lower Roop Nagar celebrated Christmas Day. On the occasion, students presented cultural items. Principal of the institution apprised the students about the importance of the day.
Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated Christmas. A special assembly was conducted by the students of pre-primary section. The students attired in colourful red and white dresses spoke about the true meaning of Christmas. Tiny tots exhibited their talents through songs and mesmerizing dance performances. An English play highlighting the spirit of Christmas and the birth and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sake of humanity was also staged. Principal Shuchita Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Christmas was celebrated in TAPPS Sunjuwan. Principal Jaspreet Kaur and Coordinator Sharry Gill were the guests of the day. The tiny tots beautifully dressed in red and white attires sang, acted and danced with lots of joy and confidence. The story of the birth of Jesus was narrated by a teacher. Ashu Wadhera and Rupali Gupta were also present.
JK Convent School Subash Nagar celebrated Christmas Day, in which a colorful dance & a play on the life of Jesus Christ were performed. One of the kid who was dressed like Santa distributed sweets to all teachers, parents and children. Dr Sudhir Mahajan was the chief guest while Ravinder Sharma Director, RRaSh Motion Pictures was the guest of honor. Rohit Bains, Director of the school and Renuka Verma Principal were also present on the occasion.
Christmas was celebrated by Cradle2Crayons School at its sprawling campus at Dogra Nagar, Lower Roop Nagar. A colourful show including dance items to welcome arrival of Jesus Christ were presented by the students dressed up as Santa Claus and fairies. Santa also distributed gifts among the students.
Euro Kids School Kathua celebrated Christmas Day. L.K.G students performed group song on the stage. The function started by active participation of toddlers singing the Christmas song. Principal Gagandeep Kour appealed to all to follow the path of love, brotherhood and peace for the betterment of whole mankind.
To Welcome “X” Mas and New Year, Cygnett Park Asia Jammu held a cake mixing ceremony. Lot of prominent personalities and other distinguished guests participated in the ceremony. Some of the banquet halls have already been booked by our esteemed guests to celebrate the New Year eve and few are still tentatively booked”.
