DODA, Dec 18: Thathri police arrested a dhaba owner and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Thathri Police Station laid a naka near grid station and apprehended a man along with 21 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Kuldeep Kumar, son of Chuni Lal, a resident of Prano.
He is running a dhaba at Thathri and was carrying the illicit liquor pouches for selling among the people to make illegitimate profits. He was also arrested earlier with illicit liquor pouches in the month of March this year.
A case under FIR Number 80/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Sunil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhadarwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
