JAMMU, Dec 18: Two days mega multi specialty health checkup camp organized by Vishwa Kashmiri Pandit Samaj,Team Jammu, Global Solace (NGO) and Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society in association with Medanta Hospital Medicity concluded. The camp was held under the leadership of Kiran Wattal, Zorawar Singh,Rajesh Gupta and Pintu ji (Jagti).
A team of reputed doctors from Medanta (Medicity) Hospital who participated and examined the patients included Dr Vijay Kohli Cardiology, Dr S.K. Taneja, Cardiology, Dr Govind Sharma Bone & Joint, Dr. Anand Jaiswal Chest, Dr. Sanjay Goja Liver Diseases, Dr. Arun Sharma Gen Physician. Besides, doctors from the State who participated were Dr. Sushil Razdan Neurologist, Dr. Yudhvir Gupta Pathologist, Dr. Jagdish Thappa Psychiatrist, Dr.Rakesh Gupta Paedodontist, Dr. Sunil Kotwal ENT, Dr. Suresh Saraf Urologist, Dr. Indu Kaul, Gynaecologist, Dr. Jyoti Hak, Dr Abdul Gani Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Sandeep Singh Orthopedic, Dr. Amit Vaid Skin Laser aesthetic, Dr. Ankur Goel Eye Specialist and Dr. Gautam Goel administered the specialties. 2854 patients form Jagti Township Displaced Kashmiri Pandits/ Nagrota constituency and its surrounding area, also few patients from Jammu, Kathua, Samba, R S Pura and Akhnoor availed the facilities of this mega multi specialty health checkup facility.
It is worthwhile to mention that all investigations like Heart-Eco, ECG, BP, Eye testing. Dental treatment, skin treatment including blood investigation and complete lipid profile were conducted free of cost to 1780 patients, besides free medicines were provided as per the prescription of the Doctors.
“Doctor at your door step” was latest scientific digital innovation in medical science particularly meant for Rural India where patient can have treatment and 172 investigations without physical check up, by way of device connected to specialized doctors around the globe.
The success of this event could have not been possible without the expertise of doctors & complimentary facilities in respect of investigations of all types of testes were provided by Krishna Diagnostic Lab, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
