JAMMU, Dec 16: Abdul Majid Khan, president of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation has sought circulation of the salient features of the Mediclaim Insurance Policy and extension of the last date for filing enrollment forms by the State Government employees and pensioners.
“The time limit stipulated for filling up the enrollment forms in response to the circler No.102-FD of 2017 dated 6-12-2017 issued by the Finance Department published in local news papers on 9th of December 2017 before ending December 2017 is too short especially for the pensioners who are living in far and wide of the State,” he said in a statement, issued here today.
Besides this, he added, the Government should circulate the salient features of the Mediclaim Insurance policy to enable State enployees and pensioners to go through the merits and demerits of the Policy before filling up the enrollment form as he said and added that the earlier such policy which was subjected to the ifs and buts, was not well suited to the genuine needs and aspirations of the employees because of which very few could avail the benefits of earlier Mediclaim Insurance policy.
