JAMMU, Oct 3: A workshop on `Communication Skills’ was conducted by Priya Raina and Hajinder Singh from Jetking Pvt Ltd under the guidance of Naveen Sharma, centre-head of the company for the students of all branches of IECS Polytechnic in which different areas of overall personality development were covered like group discussion, effective communication skills, body language and interview giving skills in length and breadth.
The main aim of such kind of workshop is to boost the confidence level of students to face real life corporate challenges and to enhance communication skills for overall personality development.
Prof KG Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic asserted that such kind of workshops were very exhaustive and informative in nature and helps in bridging the gap between institutional teaching and today’s industrial requirements.
Others present during the workshop were Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration, HN Bhat, HoD Mechanical, Amit Sharma, HoD Computers and Prof Anil Warikoo.
